I have this idea.
I am sort of interested in simulacra and I want to explore this by … recreating found YouTube footage. Probably as exactly as possible. These are some potential clips I have selected for this project:

Maybe my thesis paper is doomed.
In my defence, it does make sense that I am struggling with it though since I make art to express things that I can’t express through other means.

My name is Kevin Strickland and this is my Thesis Blog. I am an MFA Painting Candidate at the Savannah College of Art and Design — the coursework for the degree is completed, I had my final show and I am currently writing the thesis paper. I created this site to chronicle the artworks and research relevant to the final phase of my grad school experience.
